It would appear that the friction caused by so many desperate-to-see-some-action reporters has set off a small fire in a disused RBS bank on Threadneedle St:
Happily every potential ‘anarchist’ has a retinue of at least 10 press people which gives them an excuse to ‘do something violent’ worth reporting.
I’m honoured in that we even have a little retinue of protesters outside The Times. I’m only too happy to acquiesce to any demand they may have.
I think they’re keen for us to take our statutory screen breaks, as constant use of computer monitors can be very bad for the eyes.
